Amy has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years and is a Chartered Financial Consultant^® as well as an Investment Advisor Representative. Amy began her career at a large insurance company and honed her financial planning skills at a CPA firm as the in-house financial planner and investment manager. Experiences at those firms caused her to recognize the value of independence and inspired her to take that leap in 2002. Amy is also a Registered Representative and has FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, 24, 63, and 65 registrations, as well as insurance licenses in multiple states.

Amy believes in giving back to the community. She donates her time to the service projects of Rotary which help the children of Herndon by promoting literacy, providing access to medical care and other critical needs. She served multiple years on the Herndon Rotary Board and is a past president. She is a former board member of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and former president and treasurer of the Executive Women’s Roundtable.

A native of Northern Virginia and an avid traveler with a sense of adventure, Amy and her husband spend their leisure time hiking mountains around the world.
